Our Faculty and Staff

Sofya Habinsky is an entrepreneur and an educator whose interest in finance follows from living through several major financial crises that happened both in her native country, Russia, and the US.

In her corporate career, she focused on enterprise valuation and risk management. Her research interests include behavioral biases in investment decision-making.

In addition to her M.S. and B.S. degrees in Finance, she completed three years of undergraduate study in French and English at the Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University in Russia.
