You know finance. Now multiply that advantage by diving deeper and thinking bigger at the same time. Earning an M.B.A. with a Finance major from Nova Southeastern University's College of Business empowers accelerated career growth in ways a traditional Master’s Degree in Finance can’t.

Build senior-level business savvy, with a well-rounded curriculum covering all key disciplines, while also furthering your financial expertise. The combination is a formidable advantage for startups and C-level positions alike.

  • Combines core M.B.A. classes with specialized focus on corporate finance, securities analysis, portfolio management, and financial institutions and markets.
  • Finance major emphasizes theory and analysis, including relevant techniques of economic analysis, mathematics, and statistics.

I try to help students overcome the fear of time value of money (TVM) concept by teaching that it’s just a simple system with five variables. When students grasp finance concepts and learn to apply them in both their personal and professional lives, finance becomes fun.

Waivers will only be considered when an equivalent course with a grade of C has been earned in the past 5 years. Courses may be waived at the discretion of the department chair or designee when the student can demonstrate current knowledge and consistent use of skills and abilities that align with one or more of the three undergraduate disciplines. To seek such a waiver, the student must provide to the chair or designee a current resume and short essay that describes past and current work activities that support the waiver(s). The student may submit supplemental information at their discretion.
