Dr. Barbara Alston is a Professor of Human Resources with extensive experience in higher education. She earned a Doctorate in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from Nova Southeastern University and holds a Master of Business Administration from Averett University in Virginia.

Dr. Alston has chaired several dissertations, published and presented at numerous professional conferences, and serves as a reviewer for various journals and conferences. With over twenty years of teaching experience, she has collaborated on research in performance management, emotional intelligence, leadership, and training. Bringing 20+ years of senior leadership experience, Dr. Alston offers a wealth of business knowledge and leadership skills to her students. Additionally, she is certified in Human Resources, holding SHRM-CP and IPMA-SCP credentials.
