Dr. Eileen Petzold-Bradley brings over 25 years of experience in organizational development, human resources, strategic communications, and conflict resolution, with a specialized focus on entrepreneurship and start-up ecosystems. As a practitioner-scholar, she bridges research and practice to foster innovation, collaboration, and sustainable growth.
Eileen holds a Ph.D. in Conflict Resolution & Analysis from Nova Southeastern University, where her dissertation examined the key success factors for entrepreneurs in start-up ecosystems. She actively publishes in peer-reviewed journals, contributes to professional publications, and is currently authoring a book on entrepreneurial success.
At NSU, Eileen excels in the Human Resources Division, leading employer branding, inclusive programming, learning and development, and employee engagement initiatives that connect and empower the NSU community. Her academic teaching efforts span across the institution, engaging learners of all levels—from undergraduates and graduate students to lifelong learners—to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and professional growth.
Prior to joining NSU, Eileen gained hands-on entrepreneurial experience in Germany, where she successfully operated an educational franchise and her own LLC. She mentored professionals, delivered language and intercultural training, and strengthened team dynamics in diverse organizational settings.
As a recognized thought leader, Eileen has presented her research at national and international conferences, addressing critical topics such as entrepreneurship, conflict resolution, and diversity in higher education.
Eileen’s expertise aligns seamlessly with NSU’s mission to cultivate entrepreneurial leaders, foster interdisciplinary learning, and build meaningful connections that drive transformational impact across industries and communities.
