Jessica A. Wright is a seasoned operations leader with over two decades of experience in various aspects of project management, business administration, and organizational development. Born in Evanston, Illinois, Jessica moved to South Florida at a young age and has spent most of her life there, shaping her career in the region’s dynamic business and public sectors.

Jessica holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Florida International University, alongside an Associate in Arts in Business Management from Valencia College. Her educational background has equipped her with comprehensive knowledge in project management, budgetary management, and strategic planning, particularly in the field of affordable and commercial multi-housing development.

Jessica’s career includes significant roles in both the public and private sectors. At Broward County, she has served as the Administrative Manager in the Public Work – Traffic Engineering Division, managing a capital budget of over $28.3 million and an operating budget exceeding $16.2 million. Previously, she was the Administrator Officer in the Highway Construction and Engineering Division, overseeing a $4.78 million operating budget and supporting a 60+ person division. As a Building Manager in the Aviation Division, she ensured the safe delivery of building projects, collaborating with architects and civil engineers and leading a large team.

In the private sector, Jessica excelled as a Senior Community Manager, directing the operations of multiple rental communities, developing operating budgets, and managing acquisition-based lending databases. Her expertise in property management, contract negotiation, and financial performance consistently ensured the success of these properties.

Throughout her career, Jessica has demonstrated strong communication skills, effective problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to fostering positive work environments. She is adept at mentoring and coaching staff, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and collaborating with community organizations and government entities to enhance public service delivery.

Jessica holds a Real Estate Sales Associate License from the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulations, and she is certified in various levels of the National Incident Management System by the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Her professional accolades and certifications reflect her dedication to continuous improvement and excellence in her field.

Residing in Pembroke Pines, FL, Jessica is happily married to her husband of nearly three years. Together, they have three adult children. Jessica continues to be a high-impact leader, leveraging her extensive experience and expertise to drive organizational success and deliver exceptional results in every role she undertakes.
