Our Faculty and Staff

Maryam Omidi, CPA, is an instructor at the H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University, where she teaches accounting courses. She holds a Master of Accounting degree from Florida Atlantic University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Florida.

In addition to her role at NSU, Maryam serves as the Chief Financial Officer for a government agency—a position she has held for over 13 years. Her professional background includes public accounting, where she specialized in auditing, as well as experience in governmental and corporate accounting. Maryam brings a wealth of real-world experience to the classroom, blending academic knowledge with practical insights to prepare students for success in the field of accounting.
