The H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship (HCBE) offers select undergraduate students and majors the option to accelerate their studies and begin graduate coursework. High-achieving undergraduate business students can get a head start on graduate school by earning up to 9 graduate credits while completing their bachelor’s degree. These credits may transfer toward a future NSU graduate business degree, helping students save tuition and time and accelerate their academic and professional goals.
Pathway Program Details
Requirements
Eligibility is limited to students who have earned at least 90 undergraduate credit hours (senior status) and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.4.
How to Join the Program
During their junior year, students are encouraged to meet with their academic advisor to discuss interest in the program. The Center for Academic and Professional Success (CAPS) will review eligible business students, based on the requirements outlined above, and extend invitations to those who meet the criteria. Students must respond to their academic advisor to formally declare their intent to participate in the program. Upon confirmation, students will meet their academic advisor to review a revised degree audit outlining the graduate-level courses to be completed as part of the program.
Benefits
Get a head start on your graduate degree through the Accelerated Graduate Program Pathway. By taking select graduate-level courses as an undergraduate student, you can reduce your future NSU graduate program by up to 9 credits*—saving both time and money. Once you complete your undergraduate degree, a courtesy graduate application will be submitted on your behalf, eliminating the $50 application fee. The transfer of up to 9 credits* will result in tuition savings for students pursuing the One-Year MBA ($12,510) and all other programs ($9,891) based on 2025–2026 tuition rates. As an added benefit, you’ll also qualify for the NSU Alumni Award, making your path to graduate school even more rewarding.
Grading Requirements
Students must earn a B or higher in a graduate-level course for it to transfer toward the HCBE master’s program. Courses completed with a B- or lower will not apply and must be completed as part of the graduate degree.

Select Your Pathway
Students are strongly encouraged to follow their approved academic plans to maximize the number of credits that may be transferred toward the NSU graduate program. Students who complete an undergraduate course are not eligible to enroll in the corresponding graduate-level course, which may reduce the total number of master’s credits available for early completion*. Additionally, failure to follow the recommended plan may result in ineligibility for other graduate courses if prerequisite requirements are not met.

*To make the most of the accelerated pathway, students should follow their degree plan and take courses in the recommended order. Taking courses out of sequence may limit the student’s ability to take certain graduate-level courses as part of the program and could affect eligibility for future graduate courses due to prerequisite requirements.
**Courses will satisfy ACG track for students seeking to pursue CPA.
