Dr. Petrova has over 20 years of experience in Information Technology industry holding leadership positions in project management and software development for Fortune 500 companies, managing large complex global projects. As an Adjunct Faculty, she has taught Database Management, Business Analytics, Systems Analysis and Design, Enterprise Information Systems and Project Management courses at Florida International University since 2010. In addition, Ms Petrova has taught Systems Analysis and Design, Project Management, Web Design, Software Development and Web Performance, Databases, Office Integration and Automation, Security and Business Recovery course at Jones College and Supply Chain Management (eBusiness, eCommerce, eMarketing) at University of Phoenix.

Since 2015 at Nova Southeastern University, she has taught both graduate and undergraduate courses including ISM 3660 Management Information Systems, ISM 5150 IS Strategy & Data Management, ENT5985 Lean Management and ENT 5990 International Trade and Business.

Dr. Petrova’s dissertation topic was Real Estate FinTech related: “REAL ESTATE CROWDFUNDING PLATFORMS: WHAT FACTORS CONTIRBUTE TO HIGHER REALIAZED RETURNS?”. As a serial entrepreneur, she has founded a real estate brokerage company Real Estates Market LLC in 2010. She works with many real estate developers, owners, attorneys, banks, private equity firms, investors, title companies, insurance agents in Florida, nationally and internationally. In addition, she has trained many real estate professionals and attended various conferences and events.

Ms Petrova served the Board of Directors at International Association for Management of Technology, and she is actively involved in the Organizational and Leadership Committees. She has presented a research paper at IAMOT 2009 conference, “Green Project Management Technology” and chaired R&D sessions at IAMOT 2011 conference "Technology and the Global Challenges: Security, Energy, Water, and the Environment".

Dr. Petrova actively participates in Technology Communities events and support a few universities, attends and presents at professional seminars and conferences. She volunteered in presenting at K-12 schools to encourage students to pursue engineering careers. As part of her leadership group and continuous support for Engineering Week, her team reached out in South Florida to over 2700 students.

Ms Petrova as the founder of Green PM Consulting, she continues to consult national and international companies in their efforts to streamline processes, aligned with people and technology for sustainable growth, and tangible business results.
