Ramina Benjamin, Ed.D., holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of South Florida (USF) and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with concentrations in international business, strategic management, and marketing, also from USF. She earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership (Ed.D.) from the University of Southern California (USC).

With over 16 years of experience in higher education, Benjamin has developed extensive expertise in academic leadership, accreditation, and student learning assessment. Her recent role at the H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship (HCBE), at NSU, was driven by a clear mission: achieving AACSB accreditation, a goal that was successfully accomplished during her tenure at the college.

Currently, Benjamin serves as the Director of Professional Accreditation and Assessment in the Office of the Provost at NSU, where she manages and supports programs across all NSU colleges in their professional accreditation efforts, and oversees student learning assessment at the university level, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance with professional accreditation and institutional standards. She manages the professional accreditation efforts of over 55 programs across more than 30 accrediting bodies, providing strategic guidance and institutional support. In addition to these responsibilities, she also serves as the Interim Assistant Dean of Accreditation for the H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship, offering leadership and oversight for accreditation initiatives within the college. Furthermore, Benjamin is the co-chair of the Academic Program Review process at NSU, where all programs undergo a comprehensive review to ensure quality and continuous improvement.
