Daleik (Alex) Vaughn joined the Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship in October 2022 and is currently an Adjunct Professor of  Community Association Management. Daleik is a seasoned property management professional with over 17 years of experience in the industry. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated exceptional proficiency in managing a diverse portfolio of properties, including single-family homes, multifamily residences, and community associations. His extensive knowledge and hands-on approach have enabled him to successfully navigate the complexities of property management while enhancing operational performance, resident satisfaction, and long-term asset value.

Mr. Vaughn is also the author of two textbooks published by Springer Nature: Essentials of Residential Property Management: Managing Single-Family Homes, Multi-Family Homes, and Community Associations and Principles of Community Association Management: A Practical Guide to HOA, Condominium, Strata, and Community Association Governance and Management. His publications bridge academic theory with real-world practice and serve as resources for students and industry professionals pursuing careers in residential and community association management.

In addition to his practical experience, Mr. Vaughn holds licenses as a Florida Real Estate Broker, Michigan Real Estate Salesperson, Florida Licensed Community Association Manager (LCAM), and the internationally recognized Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®) credential. These professional designations reflect his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and continuing education within the real estate and community association management industries.

Raised in Tuskegee, Alabama, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Tuskegee University and an MBA from Florida International University. In his spare time, he enjoys working out, reading, and volunteering in his community.
