A promising career awaits you in the money management and investment banking industries. But first, you need to prepare with a finance degree. Build your skills and intellectual strength in a program that delivers a competitive advantage.

Nova Southeastern University’s Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance will give you the skills and practical knowledge you need through the study of foreign currencies, investments, portfolio theory, financial management, forecasting and more. You’ll gain a strong foundation in key business areas, such as administration and operations, with a focus on finance essentials. Upon successful completion of the program you’ll be prepared to start your career in the finance industry or continue to the M.B.A. graduate business program.

Pursue a Career in Finance or Pursue an M.B.A.

Finance professionals are in demand, with jobs expected to grow at a steady pace throughout the next several years.

A finance degree gives you a lot of flexibility in job location. You can find jobs in virtually any company or industry, since most companies and organizations need help managing budgets, investments, and other financial matters. During your undergraduate studies, you’ll have a number of hands-on opportunities to gain real world experience.

Case Competitions

Case competitions are one of our most popular opportunities for finance and other business majors. A case competition starts with a fictitious or real “problem.” Students then work individually or in teams to identify possible solutions and present them to a panel of judges. Each competition provides incentives for both the winners and participants, in addition to earning an ExEL unit credit.

Internships

In addition to case competitions, finance majors enjoy exclusive internships at companies like Morgan Stanley, DHL, Merrill Lynch, Volvo Financial Services, The Simon Group, Northwestern Mutual, A.W. Motors, William Douglas Property Management and Cassel Salpeter and Co.

You’ll also have access to our Corporate Speaker Series, workshops, and employer networking events, which bring you face-to-face with leading organizations and Fortune 500 executives.
