Today’s global business environment needs leaders who can help companies grow and excel. To move forward in a sought-after management position, you need a program that delivers a competitive advantage.

Nova Southeastern University’s Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Management will give you the skills and practical knowledge that will help you climb the corporate ladder. NSU’s management curriculum covers every key business discipline, from administration and operations to accounting and marketing, with a focus on management. Not only will you learn the basics of leadership, but you’ll study workplace diversity, business communications, human resource management, and more. Upon successful completion of the program, you’ll be prepared to jump directly into the workforce or continue to the M.B.A. graduate business program.

Your Direct Pipeline into the Workforce

With a management degree, you have a lot of flexibility in job location. You can also devote your career to an area of management you’re interested in (e.g. financial management, human resource management, property management, sales management etc.) You can also have a career in any of a number of industries (e.g., finance, retail, IT, manufacturing, health care etc.) Some management graduates go on to obtain an M.B.A. with a major in Management in order to pursue executive-level management positions.

During your undergraduate studies, you’ll have a number of hands-on opportunities to gain real world experience.

Case Competitions

Case competitions are one of our most popular opportunities for management and other business majors. A case competition starts with a fictitious or real “problem.” Students then work individually or in teams to identify possible solutions and present them to a panel of judges. Each competition provides incentives for both the winners and participants, in addition to earning an ExEL unit credit.

Internships

In addition to case competitions, management majors enjoy exclusive internships at companies like Castle Group, City Furniture, AutoNation, My Real Estate Broker Inc., Pet Express, Crossway Church and more. You’ll also have access to our Corporate Speaker Series, workshops, and employer networking events, which bring you face-to-face with leading organizations and Fortune 500 executives.
